I love to make my own ghost shapes out of all the packaging that I receive when I go scrappy shopping. There are some easy ways to make your own shapes.....use a die cutting machine or even use your punches. Then you can embellish them with beads, paint, outline the sides with a marker to make them pop. So much that can be done to create that perfect embellishment!

My new favorite technique is stitching on pages.

Yippee, you have great challenges going on at WT!
My favorite technique would be layering embellishments. It adds fun texture and dimension!

my favorite technique is inking the edges of paper--I can't scrap without my inks!!

My latest technique is glittering my brads! I take a glue dot and wrap it around the head of a brad. Then I take that brad and swirl it into a bowl of glitter, then tap off the excess glitter. Then I press it down so the glitter is embedded really good on the glue dot brad. Voila! You now have a glittered brad! :)

That is a fabulous tip. Love it! One of my favorite new products since Christmas has been the sugarcoated brads from Doodlebug. I will definitely be trying this one.
Thanks so much for sharing!!

Great idea! I knew I was saving all of that packaging for a reason. Can't wait to try this.

Haven't done that either but I want to. I've been cheating, using the new Daisy D's rub-on stitch tape and Doodlebug stitching rub-ons. I know, a little bit of a slacker. I actually received an Easter card that had the layers sewn together and it was soo cool - which had me thinking "I can do that!"

I love doing that too, especially with chipboard and flowers.

Inks...it's something that once you start doing it, you can't stop. I am an inking fanatic as well, especially cards. Love the Cat's Eye!!

yup- love me some cats eyes!!
here's another tip, one for storing acrylic stamps... I have mine on transparencies slid into page protectors and held in my 3-ring binder. I also put a page protector after each sheet of acrylics with a solid sheet of colored cs...that way, I can flip through my binder and easily see what stamp I am looking for!

My favorite technique would be using my pen! I've been loving putting a thin border of white or black pen along the edge of my photo. Actually on the photo like a frame. It really makes the photo pop!

i use zots for adhesive and i've found that half a zot works just as well as 1 so i fold the backing over onto the zots and cut them in half!

Thanks for that tip - I will have to remember that!

Exellent tip - I need to get my clear stamps in order. I've been buying them like craze and they are just sitting in a drawer. Ahhhh...to get organize :)
